RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, maintain, and analyse budgets, prepare periodic reports, and compare the budgeted to actual costs.
  • Ensure compliance with the local financial legal requirements by studying new legislation laws, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
  • Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending the policies and procedures.
  • Reconciliation and settlement of accounts, monthly balance sheet, profit and loss statements and other reports.
  • Provide objective and analytical insight in the strategic direction and development of the entities.
  • Supervise and follow up on the financial aspects of our projects.
  • Develop, maintain, and analyse budgets, prepare periodic reports and compare the budgeted to actual costs.
  • Budget monitoring, financial modelling.
  • Prepares asset, liability, expense, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
  • Providing the documents requested by the Auditors during the annual independent audit conducted by one of the big 4 audit firms
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Preferably construction industry experienced professional
  • Preferably Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Proficiency with ERP and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Degree in Accountancy or related field.
  • Experience in end-to-end accounting activities.
  • Solid understanding of accounting consolidation under IFRS
  • Corporate Finance, good analysing and reporting skills, deadline oriented, confidentiality, time management and data entry and reporting management.
  • Detail-oriented, efficient, and organized professional with extensive experience in accounting systems
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well thought out decisions.
